My "That's Gay" photo has, well, a lot of feedback. A lot is good. A lot is...well, negative. It kind of blew me away actually. People think such an innocent photo is so offensive but they think to say "that's gay" isn't. I don't get it. At any rate, it's not about what's offensive or what's not offensive. It's about using language correctly. The end.

The word Gay meant happy or strange (ie different) before it ever meant anything sexual. In fact, calling a homosexual "gay" in the first place was an attempt to call them different/unusual. However, language evolves and time changes everything. Homosexuals have adopted the word as their own (that's usually the best move when being insulted, just look at the Democratic Ass).
Thus, it is *currently* correct to use the word Gay to mean homosexual.
